ASSIGNMENT TO TEACHERS 

Generally, parent requests on behalf of their child for a specific teacher assignments will not be considered.  However, it is recognized that occasionally extenuating circumstances may exist that, when brought to the attention of the principal, may influence his/her decision regarding  the child's teacher assignment.

Parents who request specific teacher assignments for their child must submit the reasons for such request in writing to the respective building principal prior to June 1 of the previous school year.  The decision of the principal regarding teacher assignment shall be final.
