DELAYED SCHOOL OPENING

A situation may arise when it would be necessary to delay the opening of school for students.  Should school opening be delayed due to inclement weather or other causes, announcements will be made through the same means as emergency school closings, but the message will be "delayed opening".

 The school hours under a delayed opening declaration will be as follows:

Main Road School and Caroline L. Reutter School
9:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Mary F. Janvier School
same as regularly scheduled day

Please note that a delayed opening does not affect the school hours of students at the Mary F. Janvier School.  Students will attend school as on any regularly scheduled school day.  However, Main Road School and Caroline L. Reutter School students' school day will begin approximately two hours  later than normal, but will end at the regular time, 2:30 p.m..
