PROMOTION/RETENTION

Promotion or retention of student is related to district goals and objectives.  The educational program provides for the continuous progress of students from one grade to the next.  Students are assigned to the grade level in which they are best prepared academically, socially, and emotionally.  A meeting involving parents/guardians, teacher, and principals will take place before a final decision is rendered.  The final decision will rest with the principal.
