Read Across America
The National Education Asociation anually sponsors Read Across America. This program focuses the country's attention on how important it is to motivate children to reading in addition to helping them master basic skills. This program began in 1997. Tis reading celebration takes plce on or around March 2, the birthday of children's author Dr. Seuss. Our reading buddies have been reading books to the class, and to thank them for their hard work, we will host a magic show and invite their entire class. This year's theme is The Magic of Reading.
