I would to thank all of the students, teachers, and parents who donated to the Haiti Relief fundraiser in February. We raised close to $1,000 for the American Red Cross! Thanks especially for the Spencer family for coordinating the drive - and check out our class's picture in the March 11 Sentinel!

With only 7 weeks until the NJASK, we've been working really hard to prepare! In Math we've been concentrating on Geometry and will soon move ahead to explore fractions. We continue to work with our new Language Arts series, and have really enjoyed this last unit on Puzzles and Mysteries. As usual, vocabulary and spelling words are introduced every Monday, to be tested the following Friday. Please practice these words with your child throughout the week!

Students also have access to the Pearson reading website (check out the link below.) This way they can review and practice skills that we're working on in school.

Please remember to check and sign your child's Assignment Book every night. And don't forget the weekly Reading Logs!
