Earlier this afternoon Reutter School had an activated fire alarm which resulted in an evacuation of all occupants from the school building. The situation was investigated by the Franklinville Vol. Fire Company and determined that the alarm system was activated accidentally. After an approximate 15-minute evacuation, all students and staff returned back to their classrooms to resume instruction and our normal school day schedule.

December Calendar
November 26, 2024 Dear Parents and Guardians, I am writing to inform you of a schedule change for our third and fourth-grade students on December 6th and 9th. All Main Road School students will be on all-day local field trips during these dates. By organizing these educational field trips, we will facilitate the installation of a new boiler without the risk of an unexpected school closure. An urgent issue with the heating system at Main Road School necessitates this adjustment. Our current boiler, approaching the end of its operational life, is not expected to remain operable until December 20, coinciding with the start of our winter break. To ensure the safety and comfort of our students, we must replace it as soon as possible. Schools must be maintained at a minimum temperature of 68° at all times, and without a boiler, we will be unable to meet this requirement. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. All of our teachers will be attending and chaperoning to ensure a valuable experience for the students. Main Road School times will remain unchanged to minimize disruptions to our schedules. Additional details regarding the trips will be provided shortly by the school. We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we work together to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for everyone. Your cooperation means a lot to us during these challenging times. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at (856) 629-9500. Thank you very much for your anticipated cooperation and support. Sincerely, Brian Betze Interim Superintendent

In Ms. Graff's Technology class, sixth-grade students at Reutter School are diving into the exciting world of robotics by building and programming their own Lego robots. Through hands-on activities, students are learning the fundamental principles of engineering and coding as they collaborate in teams to design robots that can navigate challenges and complete specific tasks. This interactive learning experience not only fosters creativity and problem-solving skills but also encourages critical thinking as students troubleshoot and refine their designs. As they bring their robotic creations to life, the students gain valuable insights into the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), preparing them for the innovative technologies of the future.
